Everyone knows that Marseille is an excellent soap for hand washing, but it can be used well in the washing machine. It is cheap and effective, especially with greasy stains.
ADVICE FOR USE
For a load of 4/5 kg. of laundry:
Delicate washes at temperatures below 40 °C: Dissolve 20 grams (2 tablespoons) of soap flakes in some hot water, load the dosing ball and place it in the drum, proceed with the normal washing program.
Washes at temperatures above 40 °C: Put 20 grams of soap flakes (2 tablespoons) in the dosing ball, insert it into the drum and proceed with the normal washing program. For particularly dirty clothes or very hard water, increase the amount up to 30 grams.
- Always use the dosing ball, this will allow to evenly distribute the soap in the drum, increasing the effectiveness of washing (thereby using less product)
- Particularly dirty garments can be rubbed with soap bar before putting them in the washing machine.
- With soap flakes it is possible to quickly prepare a good liquid soap, usable also as shampoo: dissolve 1 tablespoon of flakes in 250 ml of hot water, then keep it in a clean bottle to avoid that the soap decompose easily, add a few drops of essential oil as perfume
